Number 100: Cubicals
For the cubicals the director wanted each one to have a paticular theme/activity.
This worked well as part of the immersion in the performance. The spectators would be persuaded into seeing exactly what was in these cubicals and to see the performative nature of what unfolded inside.
Orginially, we wanted the cubicals to seem like an exhibition, for the audience to walk past and enagage momentarily with what's inside. This was an idea which stemmed from a video of women being displayed in the red light district in Amsterdam. However, the cubicals became something more immersive which fitted the performance style. The white of the material also acted as a neutral barrier between cubicals which seperated the actions inside.

Almost like an Exhibition?
This a video of me entering the space and looking at the performance as if it were a exhibition. This displays the two conjoining rooms and the performers in spearate rooms in their cubical scenes. In this video you can clearly see the characteristics of Guildhall Buisness Lounge. For example the ornate pillers are a main feature of the room. They used these in performance to make noises/sounds, this was a reminder of the constant juxtaposition of using this venue as the performance setting.

Camera, Lights, ACTION!
We made sure to film each workshop in order to re-watch the performative material and see what could be improved upon dramaturgically.
For the production aspect, by filming each rehearsal, it would have been really interesting if we had a shown the material in the performance as a form of bricolage. The performers could have deconstructed the pre-recorded voices and gestures and created a performance through the rehersal material. However, this isn't the direction that was chosen, it might have been a visually interesting idea to challenge the liveness of the performers in the space and their pre-recorded selves.
